REFUND POLICY

Brown 5 Athletics understands things come up in between when you register your kid for a sport and when the schedules are released.  To make it easy on parents we will honor all refund requests 1 week prior to the start of the season.  Please email us to request the refund.  Please include your players name who needs the refund.  

 

Key Dates

•             Schedules are released on Monday 2 weeks prior to the start of the season.

•             Starting on the Monday before the start of your child’s program, all refund request will be honored minus a $50 uniform fee.  (This is within 1 week)

•             Once the program has it’s first day, we no longer offer any refunds.  The one exception is if there is a medical issue that comes up before the 3rd week, we will provide a 20% refund with a note from a doctor.

Payment fee charges associated with registration will be refunded as part of the refund request

Brown 5 Athletics coaches are all volunteers.  If your team’s is showing as a volunteer coach is needed, we would encourage you not to ask for a refund due to that reason. If you are concerned about this, please reach out and provide us an opportunity to discuss / resolve this issue as we know you would like to have your child play or you wouldn’t have signed them up. 

 

Brown 5 Athletics attempts to honor all coach and buddy request, in the event players are not assigned to a specific team, coach, partnered with specific players, carpooling request.  In the event your child was not assigned to the correct team, please reach out to us to allow us the chance to resolve the issue as we may have made a mistake during team building.  If we are not able to resolve the issue, we will offer you the opportunity for a refund.  Please ensure you are contacting us once teams are released, and not waiting to the start of the season.

In the event Brown 5 Athletics cancels the program, a full refund will be refunded. Brown 5 Athletics reserves the right to cancel any activity based on insufficient enrollment or other conditions beyond our control.  Typically, these decisions are made 30 days prior to the start of the season. 

 

No partial refunds will be issued due to game cancellations due to weather conditions. (i.e. lightning)  Games will be attempted to be made up when possible but can be challenging due to field availability. 

 

Brown 5 Athletics programs require a minimum commitment of 90 minutes per week during the scheduled season. Participants that are unwilling or unable to make that commitment will not be refunded for missed practices or games.

 

Any additional merchandise can be refunded until it is picked up at the field.  Once the items are picked up, we don’t offer refunds on those items.  If there is a defect, we will replace the item for you.  If at pick up you decide you do not want that item, let us know and we will get it refunded.
